engine out

got the engine out today wasnt as hard is i thought..(fair enough the egr bypass hd been done which mad things slightly easier)

left the gear box in place was so much easier than faffing about pulling the prop and dropping the box..just climb ontop undo the wter pipes and you can get to the to gearbox bolts took 5 hours all in

happy days

now iv got a few weeks to clean the engine bay up and respay it

Good news mate, bet you're looking forward to getting it done and back on the road!

Im been on the phone to Jeff at Zedworld today, about getting an EGR bypass done, thought I'd get new sparks, PCV's, fuel dampner, fuel pressure regulator and fuel mapping done at the same time, none of it needs doing, but what the hell, cant be a bad thing lol.

 

Just waiting for him to get back to me with part numbers so I can get friends and family discount on them from Nissan lol.

btw, how much you been quoted for respray? and is it original colour?

i can get a respray for between 500-700 dependant on colour. good family friend

im doing the engine bay in matt black with white vacuum lines..kinda going for a colour sceme
