Its bogging down and not reving cleanly it also has lots of black smoke. And it stalls

could it be the temp sensor or the o2 sensors the car is decatted but it does have sensors still.

I'm loosing the will to live.... maybe i should have got an N/A

Sounds like a problem I had the other week.........check the connector on the coolant temp sensor for corrosion/loose connection :)

The coolant temp sensor had a bad connection when i got it its been repaired. Maybe the sensor itself its FUBAR.

I'll go and have a look if it stops raining

I want to know as well i have thia problem as well. Its over fueling badly than i not reving but if i drive o rev over 3-4k revs its looks ok. A pulls ok on high revs. My cylinder 1 2 and 4 is over fueling but other cylinder lomks ok. Can it be chip foult or my 555cc venton injectors?

na is the way to go imho unless you like fixing things

1. these are 20 year old cars

2. not only are these 20 years old, they are very cheap

Now taking into account what ive just put, most people buy them thinking they are a quick way into loads of power for little money, they treat them like they would a saxo 1.1lt, they do not maintain them properly and then at the first sign of a big repair bill off load them to the nearest mug.

I can assure you, if driven properly and maintained to a high level, a TT will give you no more grief than a N/A, the sad reality is, the moment you buy a TT you find you have to restore it.

also, no offence to you N/A lads, but seems the bottom end gives up on the N/A more than our turbos give in. id much rather pull an engine to replace the tubs, than have to pull the engine because its thrown a hissy fit and destroyed its self. :tt2:
