AIV vacuum line

I replaced the vacuum line to the driver side AIV with Samco hose. Within 4 weeks it had been sliced through by contact against the endge of the hole between the engine way and the wheel arch. Any ides how to stop this happening agin. That hole is damn tight with all the other stuff going through

    There should be a rubber grommet in the hole to protect anything going through from touching the bare metal edge... Otherwise you'll end up with problems like this wink.gif One solution is to slit a length of tubing and use this to line the hole...
