With the sales on zeds being so stale at the moment im wondering if its better just to break my spare shorty up. As i have put a few nice bits on her that i could either sell or swap onto the black shorty. Im not looking to drum up any interest in selling the car really just need to decide what would be best and whether i would make over a grand in breaking. I have been considering selling my spare shorty as the summer is creeping on and is a good time to start selling. I do have the room to store her but do not really need this zed. I bought her as a non working project on the side and got a bit carried away with bits that i did that are listed below. The engine was knackered so used a 96 NA engine from Bobgenies old zed when he converted to TT i believe.

 

Series 2 seats were put in both being electric costing excellent condition no holes £80

 

grey alcantara interior £150

 

Engine replaced with a 1996 engine from Bobgenie £200

 

18in wheels put on £150

 

Plan was to respray and is currently in grey primer

 

TT front bumper added

 

Car has a Monza rear spoiler

 

No tax or test as had no reason to put on the road may need one or 2 tyres from what i remember but the rest should be good. (I would even consider putting it through a test to see that it was all good)

 

Here is a few pics but is now in primer stored near Cambridge in a brick garage.

 

 

 

 

 

The outlay i have spent on this car is approx £1500 so i would consider offers taking that into account. If not i have room to store in my lockup in Lincoln and will respray and put on the road to sell in the region of 2-3k. I am back in the country in June when i will be moving the car to Lincoln so will be available for viewing then.

since i have 3 zeds i doubt it :D my keeper is my slickie which i will not sell the other 2 are just to play about with :)
