I got a problem with the rear light and no.plate lights. As evening approaches and i turn my lights on, the front are all fine, however none of the rear come on, if i brake lights will come on only as i brake but not otherwise. I have checked all the fuses internally in the car and inside the hood. Anybody got any ideas for me???

Wiring to the rear lights themselves, bulbs etc.

 

Do your reversing lights work or the rear fogs?

Had exactly the same problem myself. Turned out to be a loose multiway connector down near the internal fusebox.

How you doin mate, yes the reversing light and rear fogs work, i've cheched all the wiring harnesses and there ok. Any other ideas. Every time i turn the dial to put the lights on m electric aerial goes up should it do this?

about 3/4 of all electrical faults are caused by bad or damaged earths,which it seems like you've got(thats why the ariel goes up)try putting an extra earth on to the back lights,sorry dont know what colour wire to connect to but i'm sure someone on here know what colour the main earth to the back lights is????
