How the human body can be so tolerant ?

Gave my hand a right banjo on Wednesday at work, nearly wept so I did !!:crying:

A few days later, some sticky plaster and gloves to keep the dirt out and it all looks fine ?

Flesh wound !! Although the middle finger looks bent a wee bit !

You sound like a man after my own heart mate !!

Goes with the job I suppose ? As I get older, I try to watch out, but the inevitable does happen I suppose !

Only reason for the gloves was because it was an old coup truck ! All sorts in there !!

Am getting too old for all this jobby !!

Alan........

 Just about every job I've done on my zed I've managed to injure myself somehow, including smacking myself in the jaw with a 2lb ball bearing loaded rubber mallet! That smarted a bit. lol I've also managed to snort a small washer up my nose when t I was under the car putting a wire on a oil pressure sender.

There's probably more of my blood on the zed than I've got in my body

My hands always get torn under the bonnet, normally on things like heat shields, sharp edges, make a mess.

uncle lost 4 fingers. he was an electrician. fixing an industrial tumble dryer for sketchleys. it was shut of at the mains, but some idiot flicked the power back on, not realising he was actually in the dryer. got a nice insurance payout for it, but think he'd rather of kept the fingers.

that must hurt.

I had anail go through my foot, right up through my shoe too, literally a hole right through, but healed over not ever a speck of a mark now. amazing.

Sticky plasters and gloves? ...it used to be a wee bit blue workshop roll and insulating tape, and even that was just to keep the blood of the customers motors :)

Looks like you got a sore one Alan
