Well my car is at MOT station and its developed a problem

 

High beam comes on

but not dash/fog/side/main beam lights

 

any ideas ?

Guessing you have checked fuses.

 

either both headlights are burned out on low beam, the dimmer switch is bad, the headlight switch is bad

Anyone ever made up a UK standard Fuse box cover insert? that cold say be printed, laminated, and stuck in the fuse box with a bit of blue tac, so as not to ruin the existing JDM pedigree of the car?

ok ... changed a 10amp fuse and all my lights are working ... but i dont have any water temp/boost/oil/fuel working on the cluster ?

i'm a dip shit .. i stuck one of the fuses bk in the wrong hole when testing them all ... working now

You could print on card or have a photo developed of this and stick that in there

I just automatically assumed by your signature you would of checked fuses first - :s

 

Bet your glad! The fact ur at an MOT station, I also thought they wold of guessed that lol. I'd change my local garage If I were you lol.

thought it was strage ... i was thinking that the MOT station had done something .. but to have all lights/dash/indicators .. not working thought more on the lines of a relay ...

and me being at work and running bk forth to stations ... all bit of a panic really

i did replace the fuse just before i got a reply on here but as the lights worked then but no dash ... well

 

some times the simplest of things can catchs all out :)

 

Plus im really ill today and didnt get much sleep last night due to Burning temp and shivvering like i was cold

bad chest and a body that feales like a dead weight ... no wise cracks about me being fat :)

 

so take that into account

lol mark, not blaming you mate. garage should of picked up on it, I might of been in a tizzle if it happened to me, but garage have nothing to lose, so they shoould of known.

nice install btw, but where u put ur shopping? wifes car I guess?

 

omg, what a plan, big ice install in boot = no more shopping trips, all have to be done online lmfao.
