Im now back to the drawing board in what type of spoiler to fit to the Carbon hatch. Ideally needs to be Carbon as a painted spoiler just wouldnt look right.

 

I bought a Carbon drift style spoiler that i liked the design of..but when it arrived it was damaged and the suppliers dont know when they will stock the spoiler again.

Im thinking of this Megan racing spoiler as its a lot more subtle than most of this type but its only 55" in length without getting to my unit and measuring the boot it could fit nicely as i dont want a massive spoiler hanging over the edges of the car or virtually touching the sky.

 

Has any one else got any ideas? Its no doubt going to be a universal drift style spoiler again as i can not find any 300zx spoiler made of Carbon.

I know you can get the '99 spec spoiler in Carbon. It'd be ultra rare though, Si has one on his. He painted his though.

too small in my opinion, you want about the same width as the boot or it'll look wrong.

 

Mine overhangs, but is inline with the flared arches, and that's something like 70" !!

I have a carbon fibre 99 spec on mine. Look in my carbon fibre album and project album for pics.

a little history on this....it's the wing off the Whifbitz Time Attack RX7

 

not 100% certain on the exact model but I believe it's a GTC300 and measures 67" across

 

It's possible to mount carbon plates to the bottom if you wanted to cover up the previous mounting holes but personally I'd just use tape.
