we are gonna need a laptop at work to use to fill in housing benefit forms, the laptop has to be transportable so that we can fill th forms out at each property (they are going paperless so no more paper forms)

we may not use the laptop from month to monthand dont want a contract, nor do we want a dongle where you top up and lose any credit not being used after 30 days

is there anyway of doing this without having a contract or pay as you go dongle that will run out after 30 days?

I dont think there is Al, but you could always find an unsecured connection in pretty much any street, or use the internet at designated free wifi hotspots.

cheers bud, bit of a bummer considering it wont be used much, tried doing them on my phone but they are too complicated lol

someone just said that on another forum, is it easy to do?

should be mate, ask Vods he uses his to connect t' web. I don't have a smart phone so don't know how you do it but I know it can be done :)

Our dongle u can top up daily, works out bit more if u top it up day by day for the whole month. Think it's £2 a day.

I ain't used it for a while though has my phone has the net,

3 Network have a mobile router thing to best describe it, it costs about £70 gives u a tenner airtime and u top it up as required. Normally I would say Vodafone and not 3 network but in this case I was in Aberdeen, my Vodafone dongle wouldnt connect, but the 3 one was super fast, dead easy to connect as well.
