I have emailed the North Wales chaps to see if they fancy a joint rolling road with the NW area, anyone up for it?

 

No details as yet although I had considered going back to Neston where we werea couple of years ago at Dyno demon, the alternative that I know and trust is TEG sport up near Carnforth (dam handy for me, not so handy for everyone else!)

 

Thoughts and suggestions would be most welcome!

Really? I thought they were pretty good, I know people got lower numbers than they were expecting, but lets be honest I think my M3 on a 97 plate was the newest car there, the power figures were not ego enflating but were probably accurate! lol

 

Any thoughts on somewhere you would like to go? Since you're welsh an all you might know somewhere down those parts ;)

this was the one we went to last time in deeside. they seemed pretty good :-) i think it was 35 per car

Im trying my best lol!!! Yeah i got the same figures as everyone else. that wasnt the problem. On the day i was running 14/15psi and have been since but on the dyno i was only at 6/7psi iirc which is close to safty boost. i got 338hp or somthing like

 

He even said on the day when he did it there was a boost leak and it was his fault. so i asked if he could do another run and he said no chance do you want to pay again :xxx:

might have summit to do with the way he was taking his boost readings...pulling the rubber pipe off the ballance bar and tee'ing it into his dyno pipe with masking tape to seal it:xxx:...some really strange figures that day including the one (cant remember his name) pulled close to 400 with no mods if ime right

Count me in !! iv used dyno deemon in neston for a capri v8 and they didnt have a clue when it come to fettling it !!

 

There is peco exhausts in birkenhead who are pretty good !! reckon i could get us a good discount if we took a few cars lyk !!

Im driving a 1.1 clio now as my second Zed is work in progress...........................which is taking forever............................cos I've not touched it in ages :(
