Typical...my uber wide rims have just arrived from Japan but plans have changed now

You know when you've been waiting so long for something to arrive and eventually when it does, your plans have changed....

well that's exactly the position I'm in now

I bought an uber expensive and wide pair of SSR rims from Japan last year, they matched my previous Enkei rims perfectly. Well they arrived this afternoon...

The intention was to go wide on the rear (an extra 50mm) and go a bit wider up front (about 20mm) but now that the rims have arrived I kinda' don't need them anymore because

1. The Enkei's have gone to Germany

and

2. I'm not planning on going wide on the rear anymore

So now I've got a spare pair of deep dish (over 4" deep in fact) SSR split rims that are 11.5" wide with a low offset of ET +16

On a non wide reared zed they may sit outside of the arch just a tad :tongue_smilie:

I even had a pair of used 295 Bridgestone Potenza semi slicks for using up the 1/4 mile but they won't even fit on my 10" wide Volks

another one for ebay I think!!

I'll just sell them on mate.

They're only really any good for a wide arch zed and I'm now sticking with flush 10" wide rear rims. It's a shame because I think they're stunning
