Hi guys. I seem to have no internet and my phone is dead, been on to bt numerous times and said no fault on my l, I have unscrewed the main by socket and chopped the extension off to eliminate upstairs, so..... I'm just checking does the orange wire go to number 5 and the white wire go to number 2 on the main socket? Cheerz

recon it's the resistor on the master socket should make any differance on the the master socket which way round it is but all slave sockets should connected with resistors over three or more points you are connecting to the right crone points

Are you not getting any Sync on the line Daz? Login to the router and see what the error is? I can't really help without knowing more info dude.
