What are your plans for it? Full rebuild? If your doing the whole lot it fairly adds up. You would be better spending £500 - £700 on a TT. Buy the time you buy the parts you need the difference will be negliable.

hard to work out what your on about, but i agree why rebuild the na when you could rebuild a tt for very little extra. i assume what you mean is, can you bolt turbos onto the na engine and tt it later. in which case the answer is sort of no. the compression ratios etc are different better to start with a tt block etc

ok no don't want any bolt on to the stand alone na v6 just want to upgrade it with rods and pistons and all the other ancillaries and might put nos on it don't like turbo's had to many bad experiances with them to last me a life time, how difficult?

in that case would you not be better off dropping in a vh45 v8 or something along those lines? naturally aspirated power, and plenty of it. uprating the na engine to that sorta spec seems a bit unnecessary imo. some of the us guys have put over 300k on standard na blocks there pretty strong standard!

Isn't That a bit like saying I don't like to fly but stick me in a cannon and I will be ok . I am no mechanic but surely a turbo is more reliable 'overall' than Nos.

I have had a number of turbo cars and never had an issue.
