Looking for fuel pump

Craig if you read this thanks for your help last night and sorry for the interruption on

your wedding day,but hey Z must allways come first.

Anyone know where I can lay my mitts on a Fuel Pump.

Bit desperate as Z is dead at the moment.

Hi Pete, you sure it is the pump ? had a problem 18months ago on mine, thought it was the same, turned out it was the pump relay in drivers footwell, just a thought...

If it is, try Andy Z he seems to have every part you can think off for the Zeds biggrin.gif

You might be right Smithy ,Just tried the pump with a decent 12v supply and its singing like a gooden.which one is the fuel relay in the footwell..and how do you test it??

Dumb question coming up. if they are refering to the kick panel on the drivers side on a US Z are we looking at the passenger side kick panel on the uk version???

Nope, it's mirrored (in most cases), so it's still the drivers side on a RHD car.

what a relief got the best running again

bad earth.

thanks very much for ideas and comments...but it's not over yet now i seem to have a clicking sound coming from the near side of the engine poss between second and third rib.

ideas anyone.

can't grumble too much had two years problem free driving,but it looks like thats about to change.... ouch!!
