Help finding a thread please

I'm trying to find a thread about correcting the fitment of the 99 spec gear knob. It tells you how to fix it if when screwed on fully it doesn't line up properly.

 

All I can find is either people selling cars (get this with every search I do!) or asking if "this will fit"

 

Anyone able to help?
