Heat them up, make sure there's no screws in and prose them apart carefully... Job done

Hi Andy.....

ย

pm me your emails address and I'll send you a copy of my guide....

ย

it's a composite of some of the other guides out there with other bits in.... should make it very clear...

I'll also include a list of tips and bits to be careful with...

(like the "take your time" advise below)... :)

only thing i will add is take your time, if you try to rush them they will crack............i found the rear lights trickier to do than the centre panel.

thanks guys , im going to be doing something different with these . never seen it done on another zed before . they should look ultra modern but not out of place . i will post pics on the progress

One thing I found very useful was, once I had gently warmed them in the oven at 50 deg'C for 15 Min's, before I prised them apart I ran a 15 thou feeler gauge all the way round as deep as I could get to help separate the lens from the housing. worked a treat. lookout for the locking tabs, they are very delicate. also, there is a small self tapping screw in the back, this needs to be removed first. It may take a couple of attempts, returning back to the oven for a few minutes and working gradually around the whole lens bit by bit.

right ive got them seperated and the first fit of the new lighting set up fitted and tested . i,ll get some pics on when the new set up is perfected
