No worries mate, good to be preparred. As in pressure though i meant at the point at the back of the block where the oil feeds come from just prior to fitting the new turbo's.

Good luck anyways fella.

no way of seeing that as gauge isnt plumbed in there ...

but i can not see oil pressure being a problem as it wasnt with the last turbos

and its using the correct restricters for tubs as supplied

wow things just aint going right are they.

Dont quit like so many before you have its always worth it in the end

Id do a compression test first, you ran 14 psi with an old engine and a set of basically t28 tubs ? That sounds like a recipie for disaster mate.Bet youve blown a piston in fact id almost say its 99.9% gone bang.

Jim are you saying that if you replace the tubs with uprated ones you should check engine condition first?

Should be common sense really! if your upping the power/Boost then you need to make sure your engine can cope with it. If its got worn seals HG or piston rings the increase in power is just gonna make the weak points in the engine fail.

it is common sense really to check the engine condition ... however my engine was done Last year before i put the engine in anyways ..

oh bad luck mate :( well you've had your three pieces of bad luck all together so now I hope it can only get better. Hope you get it all sorted mate, especially the Z!

Crikey mate, bad times indeed, happens to the best of us, things will get better pal, they always do, chin up...

So i guess you should carry out a compression test to Asatain condition of the engine first.

What would the ideal compression readings be....anydody know?

Am I right in saying you sorted a UK warranty with the tubs? So you won't have to ship back to the States?

171 psi is standard. Minimum of 128 and no more than 14 psi between cylinders
