For everyone who has read the SHERRGAR thread

For everyone`s information his thread about a clutch unit sale gone wrong is not about ZEDWORLD as assumed by some but most likely about a company of similar name (?), we do not source our clutches from the US we do not charge import tax, we do not take 3 weeks to supply parts and we do not text customers with excuses!

I did place some pictures of of clutch units in his previous thread and I think this is where the mistake has been made, we are not in any way part of this deal, if we had of been he would of had free delivery as he lives close to Jamie.

i think sherrigan needs to contact groover unless this transaction was done off forum.

Eh? its not a trader here as far as I am aware.

Wherever possible I always try to self source parts that I need and have found that dealing directly with the suppliers rather than going through a 3rd party (in whatever country) is easier. In my experience it usually works out cheaper and also avoids any unecessary conflict if there's a problem or unexpected delay. If you build up a good relationship with the supplier over a number of transactions you can be a bit necky and ask for a small discount.

Yes this is nothing to do with ZEDWORLD. I concur.

I was just looking for some wise words from someone.

Thank you for explaining about the bizaar photo's. glad that makes sense to me now. I was so baffled.

Thank you for clearing that up, maybe a little more care was required, take years to build a rep and 5 mins to loose it and with the current high level of bad deals going on between members on this forum there is no way I would let it appear to be me, and despite saying that some still seemed to think it was.

Bloody fuming I was this morning when I read the thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sherrgar, text me mate... I am the man of your dreams....

Seriously though, I can help you out mate and get you back on the road sooner rather than later bud!

Tel: 0.7.5.0.7.5.1.2.5.5.8.

The irony is that if you had ordered one from Jeff you would have it by now. :sailor:

sorry about the rep. I do realise it is important to a trader.. but the photo's you posted.. there was no info.. no nothing. It confused me.....ermm.. could I suggest you add 'zedworld' to your moniker somehow.

- and I purposly refrained from mentioning who was the 'badman' I just wanted to know if I had such a rare car that this was quite normal. I took solace from Daffy' reply.

Pabs.. he steadfast refused to hand back any cash so I am tied. It seems it might be over soon. two more weeks should do it ....hahahahaha -rubbish.

He does lol, in every picture he posts.

anybody who either knows or has dealt with either jeff ,jamie or lynda either personally or through zedworld will know how honest and helpful they are . obviously at some point there has been some confusion arising from a picture on here .

lets not forget the hard work these guys have put in over the years building up their business and reputation . a nicer , a more helpfuf trio i challenge anyone to find .

lets remember these are the guys who turn up at J.A.E each year , pay £30 to get in and then spend all day fixing zeds (free of charge) and not even getting to look around the show . last year saw jeff changing a fellow zedders wheel in the pitch black pooring rain about 10 oclock at night after the guy got caught out driving back to scotland. again free of charge and i believe also supplying the wheel for free .

i really do think shergarr you should put a similar amount of effort into clearing this matter up as you did in the original post .

im not having a go mate , it just jeff and co are good guys and dont deserve this.

Mate text me on 0.7.5.0.7.5.1.2.5.5.8

The clutch that Andy has can be yours and you can pay when you get this sorted... it would mean that you would be back on the road.

Well I can't speak for anyone else but even whilst reading the first thread started by Shergarr, Zedworld never even came to mind as the opposing party. I think from what's already been stated in both threads it's been made perfectly clear that Zedworld are not involved in this dispute in any way, and to that end I'm not entirely sure what else Shergarr could do to make it any clearer.....Jeff's explained it via post and PM, Shergarr's comfirmed it publicly and most forum members have acknowledged the fact. If there's something else that Shergarr can do to emphasise the point further (other than naming the other party publicly) then please explain?

I'd only read the original thread and assumed it was a company outside the forum. Didn't think it was ZedWorld at all.

Just name and shame lol

yes i think he should . make it clear from the outset and that way mistakes cant be made .

I think we should all know so we can be cautious if we have to deal with them as well....

Yikes, think you better try specsavers mate lol the guy stated that the COMPANY responsible even posted pictures of what he had previoulsy ordered on his older thread, a quick pop over to the "other" thread shows pictures ONLY from Zedworld.

Needless to say many would assume that they had not only done wrong by this guy but also teased him by showing pics of his ordered product!

Thats that bit sorted, the next was saying he got confused, hmm seeing a post clearly from Zedworld who have nothing to do with the case in hand, yep easy mistake, not!

All cleared now though which is the main thing, however have seen mistakes before seriously damage a companies reputation and in this case someone who logged on and read that 1st bit, but then never seen the mistake cleared up later on when logging on say a few weeks later, well the answer is obvious eh............
