I've got 18" wheels so maybe ths space saver wouldn't work anyway?

I was thinking about LPGing it which would get rid of the spare all together.

Are there any alternative solutions if you do get a puncture? I've used the foam aerosols before on a motorbike and they're ok but not brilliant (don't work well in the wet, only a temporary solution). Is there anything better out there?

if you have a membership to a recovery contract then having no spare wheel when the car should have one will void any help, they will leave you at the side of the road if you have a blow out

and a spacesaver works with 18's mate

surely you could source an alloy that will fit. go to a jap breakers or just buy a single wheel. if you can afford big brake upgrades then a single wheel shoudn't be a problem. i'm definately going to rethink the boot install to allow room for spare wheel. thanks for bringing up the subject people.

I dont carry a spare i figured with 18in rims it would be useless plus i also figured that the recovery would sort me out anyway with a low loader back home
