'Lights' dash warning

On my new TT the 'lights' dash warning comes on whenever I hit the brakes and also when I put the lights on. The weird thing is that all the lights are fine! Can anyone suggest what the problem may be?

Thanks, Andy

This is a sign that one of your rear bulbs has gone - The loop detects resistance and if its not high enough from all 4 bulbs then on comes your light. If you have an import - a common thing to do is wire up the rear fogs as 2 of the brake lights so when you brake normally they dont come on and the resistance isnt high enough. One fix is to disable the light in the dash, the other is to use a relay to switch the lights so they still work under braking.
