As I've been lucky enough to receive a reasonable bonus this year I have the pleasurable dilemma of choosing what to spend it on ............

 

I have narrowed it down to choosing between a 60" plasma TV or a Mazda MX-5 ..................... decisions, decisions ........:helpsmilie:

 

Or is there something else I should be looking at ............ ???:confused1:

Why not buy an MX5 for the Summer and then sell it on and buy yourself a nice 60" plasma TV for the Winter?

Can't plan a holiday this year as the wife will, at some point, be donating a kidney to her daughter ...................... so we daren't book until we know when ............

Go for the mx5 mate you wont loss to much money on it if you go to sell it again,one of the best convertible's out there.

Tv for me as it will last for many many years, the mx5 will cost you more in the long run lol!!

Speedboat! Best fun I had last summer. A mate bought an L200 last year and the seller chucked in a speedboat and trailer for an extra £500. Loved it!

You don't need any tax, mot, insurance or license all you gotta do is get fuel in it and get it in the water. Done!

I'm looking for an mx5 at the mo. get a mazda now, before summer, wait 6 months and you will pick up a 60inch telly for peanuts.

Mx5 - its an easily resellable asset, or an alternative car.

 

I guess it also depends on your current TV and how much you watch TV.

if you can ride bikes id buy a RD350LC for the summer and develope an addiction the powerbands and two-stroke fumes! :)

 

EDIT....forgot the why part........cos a 350LC is as cool as penguin s#it and madder than a box of frogs with party hats!!! :)

....An MX5 should be had for a reasonable price right now - as compared to after the clocks go forward..... The prices will start to increase from then as summertime is on its way!!

 

And IMO television is pretty crap nowadays so I wouldn't bother with the plasma!! But if you do like your TV then simply sell the MX5 before winter sets in and get a new TV then!!

Currently watching a 42" Panasonic which displays a fab pic .......... so it's beginning to look a lot like an MX-5 for the summer ..........

I`ve never been a fan of the mx5, I know they are good cars but `very girly` imo, tvs are just a waste of money, technology moves so fast nowadays and we cant keep up, 4k resolution is out now so 1080p will be a thing of the past soon, I would go for a 300zx vert :)
