After market steering wheel and horns

Hi all,

My zed already had a sparco steering wheel fitted when i bought it and the car horn was a button on the dash.

I dont want this button anymore and would like to connect them to the buttons on my steering wheel.

How can this be done? Can i buy a kit? Im missing some parts like the Hicas sensor and clock spring that ive recently got from a breaker. But with the boss i have at the moment its not possible to fit. Is there a different boss maybe?

Thanks Dan

id imagine you take the wires from the dash and connect them to the horn button on the wheel

if its going from one button into two then you may have to splice extra wires into the live and earth..shouldnt be too difficult

Yea I can but if I just wire the cables to the buttons when I turn the wheel they will just mangle up. I need the contacts from the stock wheel I guess

ahh i see yer problem now..what about doing what i said but add a lot more lenght of wire then when in posirtion go full lock to full lock the the wires will settle and they wont get tangled

What you need Dan is a na steering column as its different so it is just simply a wire that connects for the horn and it doesn't get mangled up. Be worth looking at a breaker to see the difference or getting someone to posts pics as I had the same problem you have with my old TT and ended up cutting things up to make it work.
