Hey guys, been a while since i've posted had my head in the car and various other things....

 

Here a bit of an update on my ZX...

 

Some may be familiar with a sileighty/sil80 ... which is a s13 silvia front on a 180sx/240sx. problem is i never like the rears of those cars, nor the rear of the s13 itself... so what to do what to do...

 

So i have gone with silvia s13 + 300zx/fairlady = Silady.

 

The idea has as i expected recieved mixed/abusive .... comment on a facebook zx page.

 

Ahhh well heres some pictures anyway.

Well hey its what i wanted to do if people dislike it its thier choice, but comments i got regarding that i dont deserve to own a z because i'm doing this to one....

mate your car do what you want with it, people are either going to love it or hate it, im very intrigued to see what its going to look like, the zeds lines are something special and i think the front end makes the car, but this could work, im finding it hard to picture what its going to look like, are you at the stage where you can put it on even if its just hanging to get an idea of the look?

Last pic is what you see is what it is right now.... i'm still waiting on lights and front clip of s13 to arrive...

Great project!!! good on ya. but the workmanship is shocking. do you honestly think you can just stick the wings on with tape :lol::lol:

 

I think the front will be to square for the rest of the car but will still love to see it finished :cool3:

any photoshops of what it may look like, and if anyone tells you that you shouldnt have a zed, tell them stella off the internet said "have a coke, a smile and shut the fook up" lol

Alright update time...

 

S13 nose clip, lights and bonnet arrived...

Placed it all on without the s13 clip (still had chassis rails on it)

 

 

Another shot of it all just sitting with no nose metal

 

 

Cut just the chassis rails off the s13 nose to position it on the car...

 

 

Here is it sitting the same with all the panels on so i can figure out how far it all has to come down...

 

 

Consider yourselfs updated gentlemen, sir's and pikey (better give stella a mention i figured)

Just figuring it out as i go along, i'm not usually much of a fabricator, and the weather has decided to halt any progress today.
