Hi Mates

I just got my car back from the mechanics and the brakes where spongy, i knew i had to change the pads on the car any way so i am doing front and back with discs.

i just wanted to know if these combinations of pads and discs have been proven good quality, or if any one had any problems with this combination or could advise something else for a little more £££.

I am getting the following:

300ZX Front EBC Redstuff Brake Pads show_image_in_imgtag.php?filename=%2Fcomponents%2Fcom_virtuemart%2Fshop_image%2Fproduct%2F300ZX+EBC+Redstuff+Front+Brake+Pads+2+copy.jpg&newxsize=150&newysize=110&fileout=

300ZX Front EBC "USR" Grooved And Vented Brake Disc show_image_in_imgtag.php?filename=%2Fcomponents%2Fcom_virtuemart%2Fshop_image%2Fproduct%2F300ZX+EBC+USR+Grooved+And+Vented+Front+Brake+Disc+2+copy.jpg&newxsize=150&newysize=110&fileout=

300ZX Rear EBC "USR" Grooved And Vented Brake Disc (Same)

300ZX Rear EBC Redstuff Brake Pads (Same)

thanks

Nice kit but so much cheaper elsewhere, green stuff pads more suitable for road use.

I've just seen this post whilst looking at options for pads and I notice Jeff says greenstuff more appropriate for road use - anyone using them? I notice that EBC say greenstuff is "Generally recommended for cars producing up to 200BHP" so I had already ruled them out until seeing Jeff's post

I've had red stuff pads on a Scooby before and I found when they were cold they were very hard to bite.

I think ferrodo 2500 pass are better suited

I had ruled the reds out already as well due to the 1000 miles required for bedding in. I was thinking yellows all round til I saw Jeff's post, but still confused with why EBC say up to 200bhp
