just started the zed first time in a couple of months all seemed fine till i decided to test the electrics...........................tried the heater display etc all seemed fine but the fan wasn't working litterally 2 mins later the whole heater system was dead, no display buttons not lighting up etc i then noticed the wipers not working fron & rear only thing that actually works in my left pod is the hazzards, any ideas? faulty pod maybe? checked main fuses etc not checked power to the pod yet as it's raining at the mo

Have you taken it for a drive? If its been sitting and something has died for no reason and fuses are ok I would take it for a good drive to get everything up to temperture and see if thet fixes it you never know mate I find these cars dont like sitting about for to long and need a good long run now and again.

check your targa drain tube in the drivers footwell to make sure its not leaking water over the back of the fuse box. i had the same issue on an old zed and had to change the fuse box due to water ingress from a targa tube that had come disconnected from its drain outlet.

cheers guys will take a look, it will get a good long drive once i've taxed it end of month lol, well to add a little more confusion to this as it's stood at the mo i'm keeping her with battery disconnected so i thought i would just go out and check poer the the left pod, reconnected the battery and it's all working including the heater blower i will check the targa drain though just incase

that does sound like water ingress, working one min and not the next, good luck you will find it easier if you remove the plastic around the fuse box, simple do to just in a cramped space.

it is strange hear blower stopped last year then started again and never had another problem, i've just been out and tipped some water down both targa drains the front one seems to be flowing through just behind the front wheel and the rear one just by the back of the door i thought the rear drain was further back

I had similar problem, i pulled the fusebox out to get at the relays on the back off it, then pulled them out one by one and cleaned up the contacts, job done
