Guys,

 

I've removed my OEM spoiler and was going to spoiler-less, but the more i look at the replacement 'skin' that you blend in the more i like it.

 

The description on ZCentre says it simply sticks on with mastic (or similar) - is that really the case or is that in an ideal world, and in the real world people have had to use other methods?

 

I'd go for the one without 3rd brake light, which would leave me with a hole under the skin where the brake light used to be - should i weld this hole up before putting spoiler/skin on?

 

Any tips in general with the blending in as i'd do it myself as much as i can.

Dunno about the blending bit a lot of people have used 'TigerSeal' to bond bits on.

Cheers buddy - i've got plenty of tiger seal so thats a good start :)

Tiger seal or sikaflex to bond, then use some P40 fibreglass paste to fill the join between the lip and boot, then P38 to level, use a finishing coat to skim after.

have you got any pics of your spoiler skin as the one i have on mine is a cheap one and is cracked, has the 3rd brake light in though, but can live with out that, and price please mate

sounds like your on about the plastic strip that runs along the back?? I dont do them??
