Turbo timer handbrake connection

Hi everyone,

 

I have just fitted & connected my turbo timer (Blitz FATT advance+) and all works correctly. I have yet to connect one wire for the handbrake signal, is this best connected near to the ignition barrel or on route to the actual handbrake. Also what colour is the wire from the original harness to be connected, i have all the info including set up which i have already done, the only thing that is vague is the handbrake signal termination.

    I just scotch locked it into the handbrake warning switch on the handbrake its self only one wire there i think .
