i seem to have a running problem, that has reared its ugly head in the last two weeks, under load she pulls fine but when cruising she coughs splutters and farts like an old hag, ive checked out all the plugs YES all the plugs generally in what you would call average condition, ive checked all the coil packs for splits or breaks, nothing i was told by lee dent who i trust implicitly that it could be the pcv valves is there anything i should check further?

could be so many things.... it would be easer if you listed the connectors you checked.... in case you missed one... :)

fuel filter or pump... or maybe a slight vac leak.... it you can't beat it you really need to take it to Jeff... have you had it on conzult?

As Lee said change the PCV's first... cheapest options first...

and this might help...

o2 sensors

cruising on motorway, part throttle, it will stutter, then if you floor it, it will sort itself out. 02 sensors aren't used at full throttle hence no problem then

i was going to suggest this too .. ^^^^ as its very close to the same problem and it was an O2 sensor shorting out ...

Normaly ok when cold for 5 mins

then splutters on tick or coasting

but goes when flooring it

unplug them and give it ago ..

or listen to see witch side its spluttering on and thats the

sensor ...

Guys thanks for your advise will check out all the possibilities which you mentioned and see what happens.

Look for a kind local member with same car spec and start swapping bits? :)

If you were closer I'd gladly let you try mine, but mine is also only an N/A. :)
