After a marathon of days and nights I'm very pleased to announce the safe arrival of our little son Jamie, born this morning 29/2/12 @ 6:41am and weighing 3lb 13oz. My partner Emma has had a very problematic pregnancy but delivered naturally exactly 2 months to the day before the due date.

Due to this he was whizzed straight off upto Intensive Care, which is where he will stay in the safest hands for at least 6 weeks.

Its been a scary few weeks with so many ups and downs, an emotional rollercoaster and been up since 5am yesterday, so really best get some sleep.

Emma will be staying in hospital for a good few days whilst they keep close checks on her, so I'll be forwards and back looking after the family, house and cats lol.

We were kind of hoping he would arrive before midnight, but a leap year baby is pretty cool and every 4 years his birthday is going to be so very special.

And I can honestly say I've never been so happy :thumbup1:
