Rear tub from Z centre ?

Anyone had this done ?

Does it affect the aerodynamics of the car - I reckon it would; but you will save on weight of rear window and car may look better ?

Any comments ?

Kash has has this done on his 2 seater.

Not sure if he got the hatch from the Z Centre though.

Standard size i believe is 87mm which these are, the product code and size is stamped on them 6549M87

I’m thinking that too, but it’s going to be difficult to stretch to that.
It would at least mean a very well built and strong engine that I know will last.
Keeps it originality a bit too.
going to keep driving it in the mean time and enjoy it and see what happens. Feels like it’s got a terminal illness! 😂

Set of Pistons Purchased in 2020, fitted to my current build and barely run in,
Upgraded to a size bigger so these have sat on the shelf since doing nothing since.
The rods are stock out of a 1996 TT.
Not sure what these are worth so PM me an offer.
