Can anyone who has 19" rims tell me what they are like on their car, is the ride comfort drastically effected, do the tyres wear quickly and how does the car handle with them. I have spotted some rims on ebay which I like, they are deep dish 5 spokes, 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears. I have asked if they could be supplied in 18" rims, but they are only available in 19's

No problems. Ride is fine, handling is fine. No rubbing etc.

As above though - makes ur brakes look crap

Something I've never thought about, I guess I'll need some big boy callipers:2guns:

Yup, you can fit huge calipers :)

Ive got 19" on mine and the ride is actually just as bad oops i mean as comfy as 18" and even the OEM alloys were. im running with 36psi in them as well.

My TT has 19"s too, they rub like fook, but only coz its lowered to the max, if i raise it slightly they dont rub and drive just fine, and in my opinion they are the best looking size for a lwb zed :)

Anyone notice tramlining sometimes, like the steering wants to point forwards when you go over something in the road like a white line? With 245s at the front and a lowered suspension there's not much room left, although I know that my bumper is partly to blame for that. But other than that, get some bigger calipers and off you go! :)

Strangely enough I got really bad tramlining when I had 17s. Fitted 19s and all was well

only thing that bothers me about 19's is the fact that standard brakes look like milk bottle tops in them.

My girlfriends Mini cooper is terrible at tramlining!! I`ve not noticed in the zed though :)
