Which Induction Kit ?

Induction kits….

I’m thinking about buying an Induction kit, there seem to be a few options. I was thinking about a Blitz, as most people seem to rate them, but I have also seen a twin cone one from Cybercraft (as advertised on the Z Centre website).

I’m looking for an easy-to-fit kit that provides the most HP gains with the least maintenance. Has anyone fitted either of these kit’s and are happy / unhappy with the results ?

Or can anyone recommend another kit ?

Thankz in advance

Herman

I've got Cybercrafts single cone kit which is cheaper and more then enough to flow air for 400 plus bhp. More then happy with it, I did notice a performance increase with it on over stock. Also I think Smithy of Cybercraft has got some APEXI induction kits going for a good deal.

Can of worms

LMAO

HKS/Apexi/Blitz/K&N/JWT the list goes on - on an otherwise stock car don't expect any miracles wink.gif

All these filters will replace the stock airbox entirely...

Once you have fitted one PLEASE don't moan about 'goose honk' or any other forms of wildlife calls... biggrin.gif

I put on a JWT single cone and now wish I had gone for a dual cone. It depends on how far you are going with modifying it.

I'm not modding the car too far as it is my daily drive and so still ha to be reliable, I'm just after a kit which is easy to fit and will last ages, with very little care.

My Apex'i is finally on its way. I will tell you of any difference and how it was to install.

Easy to fit???? You must be joking!!! Just wait till you try to remove the stock airbox!!!! Absolute bitch of a job... Seriously though as mods go it aint that hard - just be patient wink.gif

Animal calls ! Cool ! which filter sounds most like a Moose ? biggrin.gif

On a stock, or close to stock, car you won't notice the difference between any of them. I've had more than one of them AND stock.

And to add some seasoning to Andy's can of worms, IMHO you CANNOT tell the difference when you do just a filter change to an otherwise standard car.

The car will sound meaner and your brain will tell you it's quicker. And it probably is a bit but if you were deaf you wouldn't know it.
