Oil Cooler advice

i have a mogul 8 row oil cooler on the car right now

can i use one of the 13 row type that relocates the oil filter and plumbs in there as well

 

as would like to keep engine cool as poss

    dont see why not howeer you would be better off time and finaces depending. yoyu can convert to full flow witha thermostatic valve. ive been doing quite a bit of looking about recntly and essentially our oil system is only partially cooled. it comes off the oil tree then through the cooler back to the sump, many of the yanks are using full flow allowing better circulation through the block and more effiocent cooling. have a look at the z1 site ay there oil cooler kits.

    oh well i gone and got one now ... paid £112 for it ... so wasnt a bad buy

     

    but at least i can use it with the standard one fitted
