Now i have the car drivable :-), i have no ps at all.

I have deleted the hicas and have replaced the fluid TT pot with a N/A pot and blanked off the side hose on my tt pump.

The top hose runs along the pump and down to the subframe.

The rear hoseline is to the pot

The side of the pump went to the hicas and is now blanked off.

Has anyone done a hicas delete keeping the tt pump? If so have you any pics/diagrams of how you replumbed yours please.

If you've just blanked off the hose on the pump then you may well have buggered it. The pressure builds up and knackers the pump.

i've just done mine dave. no pics but i'm coming down tomorrow aft any way.the main thick pipe from base of pot is connected to top front of pump yes?

As steams has said the output you have blanked is normally linked back to the resevoir when the hicas is removed, by blanking it off it has dead headed the pump which may well of blown the seals, not sure if there is an internal pressure release valve if so this will of triggered and hence no fluid pressure.

Wouldnt placing a hose direct from the pump outlet to the reservoir blow the lid of it?

No, it completes the link and allows the fluid to flow from the pump in the correct manner. If it's blocked off then the fluid has no where to go and ends up backing up and blowing the seals.

The lid is firmly held in place by the pot. Hence the seals going.

The pump circulates the fluid around the hicas circuit which returns back to the pas resevoir all you are doing is removing then hicas circuit, the pump pressurises fluid that has originated from the resevoir, returning it back just equalises the circuit, fluid out ....fluid in.

You've got 3 choices mate.

1. Get an NA Pump and bracket

2. Get a TT pot.

It's also possible to dismantle the TT pump and remove the veins from the HICAS part. This will stop the fluid flowing around the HICAS part and you can then blank the pipe off.

I think I have a TT pump and pot in the garage you could borrow Dave, not positive on that, but I think I have. Actually I think it's in a wardrobe upstairs, will have to have a look and see. At least then you could just loop it, replace the pump if you've buggered it and drive your car until you can afford an NA pump? Then put the NA pot back on with the NA pump and gimme my stuff back or sell it for me and pass me the money, whichever.
