Hi everyone,

 

bought my first zx yesterday after years of looking. It's a lwb, non turbo as insurance on a TT was too expensive for me. Got it as a project. Leaving it off road for now as i'm still driving my astra coupe turbo, although that's no where near as exciting as the zx.

Got a few ideas of what i wana do to it but need to do the basics first, new leather interior, replace speedo, respray spoiler etc.

Any advice on styling or the best place to buy body and engine parts would be a big help.

Looked on ebay for a front bumper but there doesn't seem to be much decent stuff on there.

Cheers mate, i was gonna stick with the old one but will get a new one to save the hassle in the future. Seen some nice ones on Z Centre.

Noticed a small leak on the glass roof aswell. Would new rubber seals sort that?

 

 

If your after a oem spoiler of the 99spec one i sell these cheaper than Zcenter :)

 

Try rubbing some vasaline on the seals. This should help the rubber swell a bit and re seal :)

lots of info on leaking targa tops bud. Do a quick search and you will find a number of threads on possible causes and possible solutions. Also have a look in the FAQs and How to guides.... very useful indeed.

Do you sell any other spoilers? not too sure what to go for yet. I need the rear perspex strip aswell.

I will be doing a oem one without a brakelight very soon. plus the smooth one so only the 4 that i have.

You will not need a perspex trim if you are keeping everything oem. but you will if you go for the 99spec or high level spoilers.

There is a how 2 on here about getting them off.
