Turbo elbows fitting?0

I just got quick question. Does is really hard to change turbo elbows with the engine in? Or does even possible to change 5 bolts elbows?

Easy job mate as long as the bolts play nicely, much easier on ramps (unlike last time I did it....on my back, pissing down with rain, with the zed up on stands)

use plenty of WD40 or if the bolts are being arses then a bit of heat will do the trick

Yeah you can get to them, I used a spanner for two of the bolts (drivers side if I remember correctly) but they are reachable, and yep that was with the engine still in

It is possible think 5 bolt would be harder though. If you have the gearbox off as well you can tilt the engine back slightly if not well you may lose a few knuckles getting the nuts tight

Well i will try than will se whats happens , but i dont want to drop and lose my exhaust after some driving lol need to to tight as you said
