i have a 51" samsung plasma 3d tv and its great, only £700 in comet, not so great when watching normal deff tv with lots of fast moving colors as you get a bit of blurring, but hi deff and bluray are awesome, normal dvd's are good and the ps3 games are amazing, the 3d is good aswell

i was looking at 3d tvs before xmas in john dixons, all the expensive ones came with massive glasses that fell off my face and i wasnt that impressed. the best one i saw was a lg for about £500, awesome picture and was ducking outta the way when things came out of the tv.

It's a pretty penny further than I can justify to throw..... but I wish I had it!

Samsung are the best manufacturers of LED technology, 400Hz or 800Hz models produce the best pictures.. 1Mhz Technology will be out mid way through the year tho. Also Comet have the best deals on Samsung Tv's at the mo and the staff are more knowledgeable than Curry's on John Lewis!!

even tho its LG that make 70% of the screens for all the tv's .....

even samsung use LG screens in some of there tvs

Sony use there own

I prefer LG my self

Err close, Samsung have been making there own screen's since 2002 and these have been present in other tv's. Sony we're the ones that used to use them and LG we're apparant in Philips Tv's of there day, Tesco's Tecknika range, Comet's Proline range, And Dixon's / Curry's Matsui range.. Not a bad thing tho, the main crux is the mother boards present in these TV's that control the actual panel, that can make a BIG difference, like having a cheap laptop and a really good one!! Sony as well as doing some of there own also use some Sharp panels.. I tend to find the picture on Sony panel's very dull and foggy compaired to the other manufacturers.. Also worth noting there is a lot of lag in the menu's and chanel change over for those who like chanel surfing!

SAMSUNG best of lcd / led technology
