Where are the bolts holding the re circs in place? I've got the top small hose and the big hose but im havin probs with the clamp holding the bottom hose on. The recircs must be bolted somewhere because no matter how much force i use to try and prize it off the bottom hose it will not budge. Please help me before I start putting fist shaped holes through my windscreen

the bracket runs down to the side of block or head. the drivers side is very difficult to get to.there's two to undo but you can get them from top with lots of patience! undo the recirc 8mm fixing bolts which allows you access to bracket bolts. then the passenger side is even more difficult. i could only get to mine from underneath because i've removed aircon. imo i dont think you can get to the passenger side bottom bracket bolts without removing aircon pump.

It's ok he's downed tools now, nearly smashed the Zed up in a rage and is going to pay someone to do it! i.e Jeff!

Think you guys are talking about different things, recircs are under the air flow meter area and the boost solenoids are fitted either side of the engine, recircs are held by 2 x 12mm bolts, the boost solenoids brackets are held by 4x 12 mm bolts and the solenoid itself is secured to the bracket by 2 x 8 mm bolts.

Removing the electric fan greatly helps getting to the recirc fixing bolts
