anyone used recircs with hks bovs

you can buy an application extention for the hks ssqv blow off valves!

has anyone used this ?

basically it makes ya bovs back into recircs !,

HKS SSQV Re-Circulation Fitting inserts enable the SSQV to reroute discharged compressed air back into the intake stream to create a closed loop system to prevent bogging / stumbling of rich air/fuel ratio conditions in mass-air sensor equipped vehicles

not sure if this is available for our zeds yet,and im not sure if people would be interested .but to me even tho an expensive option it should sort out my honk noise problems.

has anyone done this yet?

I heard the stock recircs are good for up to 600bhp Z's so why buy expensive BOV's and turn them back into recircs?

Recircs are meant to be better anyway so the only reason I can see for buying BOV's is for the noise - which you won't get if you fit the addon...?

IMHO smile.gif

jay how r u bud?? a few posts back we found out that the dreaded honk noise is due to the recuirc valves exhausting back through your induction kit, with the standard air box it muffles the sound out so the only way 2 get rid of the honk is

1: buy some bov's ( what im going to do )

2: replace the standard air box

another thing i read is that chris c fitted a single cone air filter and he had no honk!!! is yours a twin cone like mine jay a se-nissan kit,

i also have a new theory bud!! no laughinig!

but having a twin cone filter like the se-nissan which has a bull horn set up its the fiberglass bit that,s shaped like bull horns to which your fillters slide on to, well when the air blows back it actually resonates ( the turbulance in the air vibrates enough 2 create sound, not a proper explanation best i can think of)in the bull horns, and maybee thats why single fillters dont give the sound honk honk!!! now u can laugh!!! see ya bud

I still cant understand why it is a dreaded noise, its the shut of air from the blower comming back out?

so what is wrong with this noise if i may ask and why is it so bad? Sounds a damn side better than your car sneezing every gear change?
