I'm getting a noise.

Kind of an exhaust heat shield rattle but a much lower tone and nearer the front. It happens at low revs briefly when there is pressure on the engine (i.e. pulling away).

Had it in the garage but can't make it make the noise at standstill so my mechanic can't find it.

It's certainly not a heat shield on the exhaust as I have a full mongoose system now with decats and it's still doing it.

Been like this since I got the car about 10 months ago and I've finally had enough.

Any ideas..??

Prop shaft bearing in early stages of failure.... guy on the orange site is selling bearings for £60 delivered..... grab a bargain in the parts for sale thread

Don't know but I'm sure someone will come along and say !

And they've done it on the orange site.....

I had an exhaust rattle noise but no heatshield making it, turned out to be the baffles/metal inside the Fujitsubo middle box that were rattling about randomly at low revs :/

I've had an all new straight through exhaust from the manifolds and it's still making the noise! :\
