factory fit boost gauge not working

hey folk, got my car ready for MOT tomorrow. shes been stood for 5 months needing various bits, but i think im on top of them all :-)

but as i was letting her get up to teperature on the drive, i noticed the boost gauge is dead. is there afuse or simple plug i can check? i know it was working when i replaced the BMC as i had to check which vacci hose ran to the gauge. but now theres no movement and the needle sits at the far left as if the ignition was off all the time. any ideas?

Have a look at the vac pipe going to the sender again, they break really easily due to age.

i thought this, but surely there would be some movement when i flick the ignition on?

You could try tapping the perspex panel above the gauge. I have to do this occasionally with my stock temp gauge.

Mine never worked either, when I had the dash out the connection had becaome a bit worn. All sorted now.
