ive just got my car back after new o2 sensors installed,recircs checked and ok at 7 psi. whilst driving up to see timmy get his car back i was racing terry in his silver zed and i got very bad hesitation at about 100mph,does anyone have any sugestions(please look at recent posts for more history on this)(recircs/bovs)
after slowing down and keeping my boost below 0 i arrived at pps,telling paul,ian and timmy what had happened,they had no idea?(this after checking all connections)
then i took ian(MAC1)for a spin ,to show him the probs i have with my car
ive got a sound when at high boost/change gear like when blowing hard down a hollow pipe(low pitch tone)
like when ya blow over a bottle
i only get this sound when in +boost but not always at gear change,i get this sound nearly every time i accelerate
also i have no loss of boost/power/performance
after a lot of reading i thought my recircs had stuck,which was why i had thought i was getting the blow off valve type sound, this ive had for a while!)
ive also thought that this new sound was because of the recircs ,but as ive had them checked i no this is not the problem
this sound is quite worrying and along with the hesitation even more so!
come on guys you must have some ideas or i am gonna have to make the long track to S-E
to see if i can sort this out.
any ideas /suggestions or even guesses are welcome
