I am currently driving a 1995 Toyota Celica 2.0 Auto 170bhp(when New!!)

 

I fitted a apexi timer which i got for my 300, just to see how fast the 0-60mph was!, please bare in mind this car is totally standard!, no airfilters, exhaust and still got standard 16" wheels on!

 

it has a nice little feature that records my 0-60 time!, so i put the car in drive left the "POWER!" button one, and soon as i launched it started counting, and when i got to 60 it stopped. (obviously!).

 

I did have the drivers window open as was having a ciggy at time "co could be a contributing factor! (Probably MS)

 

Please have a guess at how many seconds it took for my car to reach to 60mph! (Seconds) ie 3.8 seconds (its nowhere near this! lol)

well the manual is 7.8, so for saying its age and its auto, its not doing the engine is is wicked condition, out all the cars ive had jap always is the most reliable and best performing!

 

i admit its not 300 fast but what it cost me and i did think of buying a ford cougar at first but everyone on here said the celica was far superior, and im glad i took there advice!

Ford cougers are poooooooooooo the old Probe was better,as it was a mazda mx6 underneath,but I have to agree on the jap stuff even though I have been a vauxhall man for most of my driving life,God I remember years and years ago you couldnt give japanese cars away,how times have changed
