ECU diagnostic kit

Im getting a cable and serial to USB converter to connect it to my laptop. Im planning on getting them from eBay unless anyone has one they want to sell?

 

Does anyone have a link to download Datascan as all the ones i've found are dead?

    Thanks curleykev, I must be getting muddled, anyone know what the freeware is that's a step up from standard conzult as I thought it was Datascan?
