unfortunately no pics cos i live in the dark ages with tech! but changed rear subframe,removed all hicas stuff. changed both front legs n hubs. gearbox ready to go in just waitng for spigot bush from nissan. plus all uprated suss fitted.

how long did the rear subframe swap take?

i'd say about 2 n half hours including touching ups on under seal. it felt like it took longer to strip boot plastics out!

the old sub frame is HEAVY na is light!!!! i like seein her lose the pounds!!!!

nice one, did you fo it off axle stands or on a ramp, and did the fuel tank get in the way at all?

car was in air on jack point lift. just removed suss top bolts then 8 subframe bolts lowered it with gearbox lift . and apart from the abs plug and hicas pipes/plugs thats it. my life was made easy today in my pals garage. cheers to the unknown mechanic!!! fuel tank wasn't in way eiter mate. a very easy job really. as you'll already know....its the sprucing up of any bits that catch your eye what slow the job up. eg , blemishes etc

thats my usual way!! nowt finer than chuckin a motor on its side and hackin away with the old ratchet!!!!!!!!!!!!
