Is this a turbo timer? found it while installing the clutch pedal. As far as I was aware it did not have a turbo timer and definitely didn't work. What is the grey wire? take it that's why it doesn't work. There is no other wire anywhere nearby that that grey wire could have been connected to.

Any ideas?

It is taped onto that grey box and has some sort of cable that goes between the grey box and original wiring.

Just done a quick search in the net and it appears to be an adapter that plugs into the cars existing loom, and then you plug an Ultra turbotimer into the adapter

Would appear you have the adapter itself but not the actual turbotimer unit that goes with it.

RHDjapan have got them on their website :)

That was quick thanks. At least i know i can now just get shot of it.

Thanks

The grey box, I binned mine, that's where the annoying reversing beep comes from, I removed it, kept it in the garage for a bit, had no problems, so I binned it...

The box you're talking about is under the instrument cluster cover...

That one is for reversing beep and speed alert...

I just ditched the speed alert wire. Green from memory.

Apart from the noise it makes what else does the grey box do or what is it there for? Has it got a name?
