I've actually been an un-subbed member for sometime, as I am a moderator over on 350z-uk and part helped to organise LakeZ 2011.(More info on LakeZ 2012 to come soon).

I had a pretty nicely modified (if I do say so myself!) 350z, which I looked into TT'ing, but it would have been the first TT HR engined Zed in the country and was gonna cost more than the car was worth. So instead I part ex-d it for a VXR8 (LS3) and had a play around with 440bhp for a year or so.

Got shot in the summer, and have been moping around in difference sheds of various guises, the latest of which is a Honda Accord Tourer.

Time has come to get myself a Zed once again, but due to impending house buying and family additions I can't justify the cost of another 350z, or of a TT 300. So as such I have settled on a n/a 300 which I can take my time over and have some fun.

Some of you will have already seen my wanted thread, so know that I am talking to a few members about their n/a's, but if anyone does have an n/a they are thinking about selling then drop me a PM. Most things considered, though would prefer a shortie.

Hi Lexx,

Welcome to the club mate! Nice 350 and VXR too....

As for LakeZ, we should alao have a bit of a presence this year as we have renewed our old alliance with the Zclub.....

Take a look at Daffy's slicktop he has for sale, it's a beautiful example of a Zed.

Welcome to the club.

And if you're looking for a 300, I can also vouch for this car as I've seen it myself too. Daffy has really lavished his attention on the car and it's a trully worthy example!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yeah, I read about the burrying of the hatchet. Good news for the community.

we're hoping to dramatically increase the size of the event this year. The simple maths of it is, the more member attend - the more we can put on. Also hoping to get more traders present.

RX8OC have also been invited to run a small show alongside ours at the same time. Again the principle being - more people = more stuff.

I believe Martin registered recently, so I will leave it to him to post up the details. But I think it'll be mostly me who acts as liason for it. So feel free to PM me if the commitee have any questions or queries about the event.

Welcome to this neck of the woods Lexx, I got a few more hours in on the white Z today, manual conversion is almost done then its the final straight to completion. So if you aren't sorted with a nice Z by then watch this space, would love to see it go to a good home! :thumbup1:

Cheers Baz for the update Baz. There a chance I might end up with Peaches shortie depending on what the pics show, but if not you're next on the list!

Welcome, and good luck in your search. Both Peach's and Baz's look good examples of an NA.

Thanks for the kind words Ian and Rich btw :cool2:

Hey, I remember you from JNE - you had an RX-8 if I recall back then! I didn't really attend the meets though :)
