Well Well im at my wits end with this not sure what to do next?

 

 

i have a network hard drive wd mybook live plugged into my netgear wireless router,

 

my ps3 connects to it great and the media server is called twonky :w00t:

 

ok so i have loads of dvd films on my shared folders that come up on my twonky ps3 but for the life of me i cant get the cover art up :wacko:

 

now i have maybe 4 films on there that do have covers they have been downloaded from axxo dvd, in there folder there is a thumbs db file i think this is why the covers are coming up, all my cover art for music is fine,

 

i have put all the movies in individual folders with the film inside and a jpeg cover art and called the jpeg folder

 

works great on my windows media center all covers come up but not on the ps3

 

anyone know what to do? :blushing:

I did a quick google and i found this

 

For individual cover art per movie just add a jpg or png with the same name as the movie file but suffixed .avi.cover.jpg, or .vob.cover.jpg etc...

 

for a single thumbnail for a whole folder full of files (handy for seasons of TV shows) just drop a jpg called folder.jpg into the same folder as the videos

 

 

The other thing I wondered, the covers you have what resolution are they in? i,e how big is the file, not sure on what the PS3 can read etc

Thanks matey for having a look :tooth: yep ive tried the png title cover thing and still nothing,

the size of the covers are just the ones i have downloaded from google or amazon dvd covers maybe 300 x 500 i could try smaller ones as you say
