what a load of tosh, looked like it was put together in a hurry and there was time's i had to look away as it was embarasing

No it didn't, there was no TA during the war. It pooled the best out of the Commando service that was operating at the time.

During the war there was only 60 odd sas operatives, then after the war it was established as a TA regiment to keep survival skills etc alive

That'll be the Artist Rifles (now 21 SAS/Newport) that you're talking about there I think mate? Though not 100% on the TA history

 

and not really spamming the thread mate, just figured that there's only so much slating of Top Gear that we can fit on the several Top Gear Christmas special threads that have been started
