No it didn't, there was no TA during the war. It pooled the best out of the Commando service that was operating at the time.

 

 

 

Agree about TG it wasn't that good but I did laugh at hammonds mini getting it's face ripped off :biggrin:

 

During the war there was only 60 odd sas operatives, then after the war it was established as a TA regiment to keep survival skills etc alive

That'll be the Artist Rifles (now 21 SAS/Newport) that you're talking about there I think mate? Though not 100% on the TA history
