Evening all

Just noticed that one of my exhausts makes a tshhhhst sound when I let off the gas. I've only tested on idle as you can't tell when driving. I build some revs and let go and between like 1500-1000 it makes the noise. Deffo not from the engine bay. It's got full decats fitted etc.

Any ideas?

Sure its not the dump valves reverberating through exhaust? I've had it before on my old golf where I could hear the recirc dump valve through the induction kit.

It's deffo coming from inside the rear can though. Surely the recirc couldn't effect all the way back?

If you have a full decat system, it will be the turbo spooling down and echoing through the exhaust.

Does it on my 300..... :gunsmilie:
